Mountaineer Transfer Station (MTS)
The Mountaineer Transfer Station (MTS), (aka the Dump), is owned and operated by Republic Services. The MTS is where you can take your trash to dispose of it and your recycling to recycle it.

Tire Disposal
Starting June 10, 2023 the City of Morgantown began hosting the WV DEP monthly tire drop-off program. As of February 22, 2024, the MCSWA is updating the Tire Disposal Information to reflect the changes the City made to the schedule.

Who can participate: all WV residents
Location: City of Morgantown Garage - 200 M-Tec Drive (click on the link to see address on the map)

Hours: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Residents can dispose of up to twelve (12) tires at each event.
Tires must be off the rim.
This program is not open to businesses.
